ABOUT

Begum Gulsoy is a Lead Engineer in the Cell Instrumentation Team at WMG, University of Warwick. She has a background in Electrical Engineering and holds an MSc focused on lithium-ion battery degradation. She is currently pursuing a PhD by Publication, with research centred on battery safety characterisation and advanced sensing technologies.

 

With over five years of experience in collaborative research with both industry and academia, Begum specialises in operando harmonic analysis for lithium-ion batteries, degradation characterisation, advanced in situ sensing techniques, and battery safety characterisation. Her work focuses on improving battery safety, enhancing diagnostic capabilities, and optimising battery system performance.
