ABOUT
My previous research for my PhD focused on identifying the effectors of soil biogeochemical processes that lead to natural and anthropogenically sourced environmental gas fluxes, primarily reactive nitrogen gases, due to their importance in climate change and air quality. I also worked on a collaborative project with Indiana University investigating the effects of periodical cicada emergence on soil microbiology and subsequent soil-sourced gas emissions.
Outside of my research, I am a keen conservationist, and I volunteer for Warwickshire Wildlife Trust as the Communications Ambassador for their Youth Committee, getting young people aged 18-30 involved in wildlife and conservation.
