Rebecca Kandiyali is an Associate Professor at Warwick Clinical Trials Unit (CTU). Her work focuses on the economic evaluation of healthcare interventions and their implementation in real-world practice and policy. She applies economic frameworks to address contemporary questions in healthcare delivery and decision-making.

Rebecca provides health economics leadership to the Emergency, Prehospital, Perioperative and Critical Care (EPPIC) theme, with particular interests in airways management and resuscitation. She also leads a portfolio of work in child health and inequality, with expertise in paediatric trauma and type 1 diabetes. 

Rebecca has a particular interest in making sure research matters. She is co-lead of a Trials Methodology Research Partnership (TMRP) study on the Validation of trial-based Economic Evaluations (ValidiTEE), which aims to strengthen the methodological robustness and credibility of economic evidence used to inform healthcare policy. She networks with national and international experts in knowledge mobilisation, public involvement and inclusion to plan for and achieve impact.

Rebecca is also an NIHR Research Support Service advisor.
