Professor Olalekan A. Uthman is Professor of Global Health Informatics at Warwick Medical School, University of Warwick. He holds an additional position as Professor Extraordinary in Global Health at Stellenbosch University, South Africa.

 

Professor Uthman is a pioneering researcher at the intersection of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and global health. His work focuses on applying innovative computational approaches to address critical health challenges in resource-limited settings, with particular expertise in evidence synthesis, network meta-analysis, and real-world evidence generation.

 

With over 315 peer-reviewed publications and 145,000+ citations (h-index: 98), his research has achieved global impact, with work cited in 286 Wikipedia articles and reaching 183 countries. He has published in premier journals including the New England Journal of Medicine, Nature, The Lancet, JAMA, and BMJ.
